On the fringes of reality, there exists a parallel dimension of an infinite tessellating psychedelic playground. Picture the imaginings of an insane child, whereby playful and zany rule supreme. Beware the madness of the eternal playground purgatory…
This collection was born from my own fantasising about the titular message that was scrawled in crayon on the restaurant playground where I work. I wanted to know who wrote this and why? What was the story behind this message? So I made it up.
I reimagined the playground as a zany alternate dimension, an endless realm of childlike madness that trapped those who slipped outside of this reality (think the backrooms meets indoor kids play centres). This collection sought to embody this speculative setting through bright clashing colours, playful shapes and silhouette, and a sinister undertone of restriction. That all is not as it should be.
