Red and Blue

This series was taken in a rare one-hour-long window of sunshine in Amsterdam last December. The Museum Quarter looked smaller to me than it had before. And though I’d seen it through every season of 2018, it was hard to recall sentimental attachment to a place so foreign to me now. Never did I associate the colours, red and blue, with it whenever I tried to remember it. But there it was, in 2022, red and blue.
