Coolagolite

Coolagolite centres around themes of home, change and comfort. Located in and around the small locality of Coolagolite, near Bermagui, on the south coast of New South Wales, the images capture the interplay of nature and living. Interwoven with the nostalgia of returning to a past home and the losses during the 2019/2020 bushfires. The series came together naturally, not originally intended to have any kind of context, though it grew into a journey of self-discovery and understanding through the viewfinder of a 35mm film camera.
